. Probably designed as a bedside or chamber table in which to conceal a pot . The interior with a division.

Attributed to Gillows of Lancaster from whom a design appears in the ' Gillow Estimate Sketch Books ' for June /July 1787 (Westminster City Archives 94/44-5) . A similar table is illustrated in "Gillow Furniture Designs 1760-1800" by Lindsay Boynton .

Raised a tapering square section legs , fitted with all original lacquered brass-ware .( Key lacking) .
In excellent original condition with it's original surface and skin . Superior grade of mahogany with has achieved a rich patina and colour.
