Pair of late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood inset marble top low jardiniere stands or end tables .

Superior quality pair of carved huali or rosewood stands with rouge/pink marble tops . Carved throughout with prunus flower-head detail. The cartouche-shaped concave sided tops raised on four heavily carved supports with stylised claw feet . The friezes with intricately carved and pierced detail , the knees of the legs each with carved motifs . The lower part of the legs all joined by rounded-section stretchers .

In excellent original condition, one marble top with a minor historic crack to one corner . Good heavy grade of timber with rich patination and colour . A strong and sturdy matching pair of exotic design decorative Chinese tables or stands of practical scale and could be utilised for a multiple of purposes .
