For your consideration is this petite and very skillfully painted Art Deco pin cushion head manufactured by the German factory of William Goebel. Measuring just 3.5 cm in height this is a delicate little doll that is in superb condition and free from any damage or restoration. The stylized facial decoration and molded hair painted in daffodil yellow. This rare and unusual doll is has no flaws to note and will surely be an asset to any Deco collector.

BIO

Goebel is the mark used by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik of Oeslau, Germany, now Rodental, Germany. The company was founded by Franz Detleff and William Goebel in 1871. It was known as F&W Goebel. Slates, slate pencils, and marbles were made. Soon the company began making porcelain tableware and figurines.
