Victorian 10 Seat Dining Table

19th century
Description

This is a lovely large extending dining table. It dates from around 1850 and is in lovely quality mahogany. It will seat 10 comfortably and 12-14 at a push. It is in excellent condition with original leaves and is nice and flat with no sag.

It stands on 4 turned legs all fitted with original brass castors. It has two original removable leaves and can be used in different sizes as indicated below. The extending mechanism is very robust and of the pull out type. The leaves being held together with fork shaped clips.

The maximum dimensions are:

117cm(46“) wide

74cm(29“) high

260cm(102“) long with 2 leaves

199cm(78”) long with 1 leaf

138cm(54“) long with 0 leaves
