18th Century Chinese Rosewood Writing Table

Description

Good 18th century Chinese solid rosewood 3 drawer writing table with insert marble top. Great size and design of table made of beautifully grained rosewood. Panelled ends and back, all finished with 3 drawers to the front with original brass handles, escutions and locks. The front has a very nice carved and pierced frieze beneath the drawers. The drawers are all rosewood lined and are dovetailed together. The insert marble top is nicely grained with no damage.

The piece is in very good condition for its age and it is a lovely colour with waxed finish.
