There is a working drawer on one side and faux drawer on the opposite side with small turned handles and corner brackets so it can be placed in the centre of a room if so desired. This fine writing table has beautiful charm and character, stands on elegant turned legs with white porcelain castors and the satin Birch has aged to a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
