Fine Pair of Marble-topped Console Tables

Description

A really lovely PAIR of mid/late 19th century CONSOLE TABLES in excellent condition. The beautifully figured (and undamaged) Breche d'alep serpentine-fronted marble tops are supported on carved and gilded frieze. The tables are supported on gilded cabriole legs which are carved with satyr masks and terminate in scrolled feet. 34ins wide; 12ins deep; 32ins high.

*** Breche d'alep is a highly sought-after and beautifully figured marble that comes from the South-East of France. It is particularly admired for its rich variety of warm colours.
