A Napoleon III Brass Inlaid Card Table

Description

In "Plum Pudding mahogany" this very high quality table is raised on turned and fluted legs with brass feet and capitals, the single drawer is fitted with a leather writing surface that lifts to reveal a satinwood interior and dressing mirror. The top slides back and folds forward to expose a gold tooled, green baize card playing surface. 750mm high, 700mm wide and 450mm deep. Circa 1860.
