Description

Circa 1890 with adaptations, inlaid rosewood coffee table. The shaped top with scalloped edges is in figured rosewood with boxwood and bone string inlay and panels of floral inlay. It has further inlay to the frieze and is supported on tapered inlaid legs and capped with further foliate and mask inlay, and with spade toes. Underneath the table top is the makers label of cabinetmakers, James Schoolbred and Co, London.

Size 51 cm high x 98 cm diameter
