Antique William 1v Mahogany Drop Leaf Side Breakfast Sofa Table C1820 by H Y Walker of Lancaster Wdb190/1.11

This is a lovely antique william 1v mahogany drop leaf sofa or breakfast table and dating form aorund 1820 with impressed stamp for h.y. Walker of lancaster associates of early gillows of lancaster.

Constructed form solid quality mahogany it has a reeded edge to the top with a drawer to one end which is oak lined and with original working lock and key. To the other end is a false drawer. It is supported on a baluster and fluted heavy column on a quadraform base on bun feet with small castors.

This is a lovely quality table in very good condition with a deep colour and patination to the mahogany. There are a couple of very old and small veneer repairs to the base but these are hardly noticeable and certainly do not detract from this lovely table.

Measures: 28" high X 24" deep (closed) X 45" (open) X 36" wide
