Victorian Marquetry Inlaid Rosewood Bijouterie Table

Description

Circa 1890, late Victorian marquetry inlaid rosewood bijouterie table. The rectangular, glazed, hinged top is framed with extensive floral and scroll inlay in exotic woods and a similar design occurs to the sides. It is on tapering, square inlaid legs which are united by curved stretchers topped with a finial, and finishing on brass feet with porcelain castors.
