Description

An early 19th century mahogany two drawer library writing table or desk by Gillows of Lancaster. The mahogany crossbanded top with new beautifully tooled black hide writing surface over two mahogany lined drawers with threaded wooden knobs, the whole supported on substantial decorative end supports on original brass castors.

Huge quality, as one might expect from one of the country's leading 18th and 19th century makers.

Circa 1825
