Superb Quality Victorian Walnut Extending, Wind-out Antique Dining Table

This Superb Quality Victorian Walnut Extending, Wind-out Antique Dining Table dates from ca. 1880, and has a wind out handle, wining mechanism and two additional removable central leaves. The top is beautifully figured, solid walnut with moulded edges and rounded corners, above four beautifully turned reeded legs with castors and unusual sun flower carvings. This fine table would seat around 10 dinner guests comfortably and has aged to a rich walnut shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Length extended: 237 cm / 93.5 inches

Length Closed: 142 cm / 56 inches
