Original castors stamped 'COPE PATENT'. Originally made as a pull-out dining table around 1835, it was converted, sometime later in the nineteenth century, to a wind-out table by the addition of a double screw mechanism. Restored and repolished to a high standard. Would seat 14 to 16. Circa 1835.
