Very good quality and excellent condition French early c19th Empire console table with brass mounts and original black / grey marble top.
Great decor piece, simple classic style with the shaped columns and square base.
Full width drawer with original ( working ) lock and key as shown.
The console table has been fully cleaned and polished and the drawer runs smoothly.
Perfect piece for a hall or landing space, but also being this neat size, it will fit into a small recess / alcove too...just need a French gilt mirror above it!
The original marble top rests on the oak surface below as shown.
