Quality Warring and Gillows Antique Edwardian Writing Table

By the renowned cabinet makers Warring and Gillows, this Quality Antique Edwardian Writing Table dates from ca. 1900 and has a raised back with rectangular moulded top, with central original tooled leather writing insert. There is a mahogany lined drawer with decorative brass handles flanked by quality carvings and it stands on four tapering legs with spade feet. This lovely piece has beautiful charm and character, has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
