Late C19th Anglo-Indian Hoshiarpur ivory inlaid octagonal shisham table.

Profusely ivory inlaid Indian octagonal top occasional table on hinged and folding base. The central elaborate circular floriate design surrounded by a wide border of inlaid ivory with double ebony bandings. The edge of the top with ebony and ivory chevron sectional surround. The base of arcaded form with conforming ivory inlay .

In excellent condition with some minor repairs and replacements to the ivory inlaid top , but no losses. The folding base with twisting wooden 'toggles' to secure the top and form a rigid table .
