Fine Early 19th Cent. Brass Inlaid Console Table

Description

FINE quality early 19th century brass inlaid flame mahogany console table with original marble top. The best of quality veneers used throughout which are mirrored together producing a lovely grain pattern. All flat surfaces are inlaid with a brass line plus the front scrolls. The table stands on plain rectangular legs to the back and lion paw feet to the front. The front freize has been made into a drawer in Edwardian times but has been well done. The marble requires a small repair to one of the corners which is included in the price.

The piece is continental almost definitely Dutch.
