Spectacular Quality Victorian Large Antique Mahogany Writing Table / Desk

Of superb quality and clearly the work of a true Victorian craftsman, this large antique writing table / desk dates from around 1860. It has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners and blue tooled leather writing insert above two frieze drawers with beautiful turned handles. This super antique stands on four turned legs with concealed castors and the mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
