Charming Country Made 19th Cent. Lamp Table

Description

Charming early 19th century "country made" elegant lamp table. The round top with quarter flame mahogany veneers with brass line and wide burr yew-wood cross banding. The hexagonal column is veneered in walnut as is the platform base except for the top surface which is matching burr yew-wood to the cross banding on the top. Nice shaped walnut moulding around the base of the column. The table stands on turned walnut feet.

The table is a nice colour with good patination. The condition is good apart from very minor veneer chips commensurate with age around the edges.

SIZE; 18" diameter. 30" tall.
