Quality Victorian Walnut Antique Dining Table by JAS Shoolbred

Constructed by the renowned cabinet makers JAS Shoolbred London and dates from around 1880. This quality table has a solid walnut top with a central removable leaf, winding handle and wind out mechanism and would comfortably seat six to eight dinner guests. The top is beautifully figured with a moulded edge and canted corners and it stands on four beautifully turned reeded legs with castors. The walnut has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
