An Unusual George III Bow-fronted Serving Table

18th century
Description

In superb figured mahogany which has adopted a fine mellow colour and patina. Raised on square legs with block toes, the front frieze consists of two large, bow-fronted dummy drawers and at each end the table has a drawer with a serving slide above, all with oval plate handles which are 19th century replacements. The one piece top has a banded edge. In very good condition. 920mm high, 1730mm wide and 750mm deep. Circa 1790.
