A Pair of Italian Occasional Tables

1900 - 1920
Description

A pair of early 20thC Italian occasional table with brass galleries and marble inserts. The legs have very good quality heavy brass mouldings applied to the toes and knees. The stem has similar applied bead decoration. The gallery around the marble inserts to the top are heavy and well defined.The off white paint has been later applied (amateur) over the original mahogany and has been rubbed back where appropriate to reveal the brass mouldings.
