This is a lovely quality davenport, that is full of age, charm and character. Solid and heavy, with no loose joints.

4 active drawers (mahogany lined and slide freely) on the RHS (as viewed from the front). 4 dummy drawers on the LHS.
Old (but not original) patinated tooled leather writing surface. Period brass castors (some wear as one would expect).

No keys and locks are consequently untested. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure.
