Antique Victorian Carved Gothic Oak Sideboard / Console Table C1880

Description

This is a superb antique victorian carved gothic oak console table dating from aorund 1880 and constructed from solid oak and being profusely carved in the gothic/jacobean manner. It has a shaped and carve dback with lions mask to the centre above a plank top with carved and moulded edge and a shaped and carved frieze below again with mask to the centre. It is carved to each side and to the right hand side is a hidden frieze drawer. It is supported on heavy baluster cup and cover carved and turned legs to the front and heavy straight legs to the back.

A stunning table in very good condition with lovely patination to the dark oak.

Measures: 46" high to back X 33" high X 22" deep X 48" wide
