Large Spectacular Regency Rosewood Antique Writing Table

Dating from around 1830 in the Regency era, this stunning writing table has the most spectacular figured Madagascan rosewood top above a thin frieze with concealed central mahogany lined frieze drawer. It stands on two octagonal shaped pedestals with shaped bases, squat turned bun feet with castors. It is a rich shade of rosewood with a striking grain, is in extremely good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Depth : 71cm / 28 inches
