This sits above two mahogany lined drawers with decorative brass handles and has beautiful satinwood crossbanded edges with boxwood and ebony string inlay. This lovely piece stands on four elegant tapering legs and has been finished all the way around so may be placed in the centre of the room if so desired. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
