Stunning French mahogany and marble top console table, Louis Philippe Circa 1840, with full width drawer.
Very elegant console table with the simple concave plinth, scrolling front legs and lions paw feet.
There is a full width drawer in the shaped freize just under the marble top.
This is a great hall piece as well as a useful dining room piece for serving...handy with the marble top.
It is a good size console table, large enough to hold a pair of lamps perhaps with a gilt mirror or picture hanging above.
Great condition, has cleaned and wax polished well.
