Impressive Pair of Large Console Tables

1900 - 1920
Description

An impressive pair of well carved console tables of a good size for large alcoves or a hall perhaps.

Great decor pieces and would be stunning with a pair of gilt mirrors or pictures hanging above them.

These are "wall mounted" console tables, so they will need to be secured to the wall for support - this is very straight forward as there are some fitting to the rear.

Well carved with the large shaped legs and standing on ball and claw feet.

Further wax polishing to be done, but they have cleaned up well and have a good mid mahogany tone to them.

Measuring:

28'' or 71cm high

42 1/2'' or 108cm wide

13'' or 33cm deep

Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
