Description

A rustic 18thC French low occasional table. Oak circular top and a peg jointed elm base. Single drop leaf supported by a gate leg having blacksmith made iron hinges. By dropping the leaf the table converts to a useful demilune form. The top has typical knife cut marks from French food preparation, cracks and other marks from very old repairs and iron nails. The underside of the top has substantial iron bracing again blacksmith made.

PERFECT AS A LAMP TABLE BETWEEN TWO EASY CHAIRS....
