Description

GILLOWS of LANCASTER: a delightful and very high quality rosewood SIDE or OCCASIONAL TABLE by this eminent firm of cabinetmakers.

Of elegant proportions, this charming table features gadrooned decoration around the well-figured top, with a mahogany-lined frieze drawer below, flanked by typical Gillows recessed 'panels'.

This 'panelling' extends to both sides and the back, whilst further beading decorates the lower part of the frieze. It is raised on slender turned and reeded legs terminating in good original brass castors. A pretty ~ and useful ~ table. 24ins wide; 18ins deep; 30ins high. (61 x 35.5 x 76cms)
