Description:
This is a fine quality matched pair of antique English Georgian mahogany demi-lune console tables, circa 1790, in good condition. Constructed form superb quality mahogany tops (at this time England was importing quality mahogany from its colonies). The tables feature a bow front design above an indented bow front frieze finished with fine beading. The tables are raised on elegant tapering legs. The tables have been French polished in our workshops, so they are in good condition. As these are narrow tables, they would suite a hallway and would even look good in a living or dining room. The tables can be joined together to form a circular dining table if required. As they are a matched pair, one table is slightly narrower in width (as can been seen in the photos).

Condition Report:
This pair of tables is in good original condition. Nominal old used marks to the leading edges and top, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The tables have been French polished in our workshops, so they are in good condition. As they are a matched pair, one table is slightly narrower in width (as can been seen in the photos). As they boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through the years of care and cleaning they have received. The tables stand firm, are solid in joint and ready to use.
