18th Century Antique Welsh Cheese Press Table.

A lovely Georgian antique sycamore and original painted blue antique table, originally used for a full round of cheese to stand on, the incised drain channels in the syacmore top would allow the moisture to run out of the cheese and away. Welsh and dating from the 18th century, this antique sycamore cheese table has the correct, blade shaped legs, all in very good, solid condition. Perfect for an unusual country side, display table.
