Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Formerly designed for a lady to store her wool and knitting needles, this charming table dates from around 1870 and has a circular moulded top above a central turned pedestal with gallery and turned central tier. The base has three splayed legs and the mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
