Unusual Figured Mahogany Victorian Antique Console Table

Dating from around 1860, this unusual figured mahogany console table has an elegantly scrolled carved back above a rectangular moulded top. Beneath is a frieze drawer and two elegantly scrolled legs and stands on a shaped base with small turned bun feet and is full of beautiful charm and character. The mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
