Regency Mahogany Sewing Table.

19th century
Description

A fine quality late Regency mahogany sewing table,the concave hinged rising top is veneered with flame mahogany and opens to reveal a beautifully fitted interior in amboyna wood.The sewing bag slides out and the base has lovely scrolls and carved paw feet.English Circa 1825.There is a small shrinkage crack in the veneer on the back right hand side of the top.
