The rectangular top having rounded corners with cross banded edge and inset best quality hand dyed black leather writing surface which has gold and blind tooling. Each side has a concealed mahogany lined frieze drawer and the whole is supported on 2 solid rosewood turned and tapering columns with carved tulip style decoration leading to shaped platform bases with applied turned patrae above and gadrooned feet with hidden casters below.
