Description

A good Regency rosewood and brass inlaid freestanding sofa table. The rectangular top having beautifully figured veneers with “D” shaped leaves and all with 3 lines of brass inlay.The front with 2 cock beaded and mahogany lined drawers with conforming brass inlay and turned pulls. The reverse with matching false drawers. The base supported with 4 ring turned columns to a brass inlaid platform with 4 sabre legs again inlaid with brass lion’s claw casters. Condition:- This table has been fully restored in our own workshops and is in very good condition with the righthand leaf having a slight bow (which can be seen in the photos) associated with age and use.
