A wonderful Regency period free standing sofa table. This stunning quality table was made by the renowned cabinet maker Wilkinson, they used only the finest timber and exotic woods to manufacture their high quality pieces of furniture as can be seen shown here in the superbly figured mahogany and cross banded top. Even the two mahogany lined drawers, one of which is stamped Wilkinson Ludgate Hill, and the frieze drawers on the opposite side of the table are in the most beautifully figured mahogany.
Raised on elegantly swept end supports, again with figured mahogany inlay, united by a turned stretcher and terminating on elegant cast brass toes and brass castors.
