Description

fabulous oriental hardwood table.

the lidded top ( working lock & key ) with mother of pearl carved female figure on ground with incised decorations of mountains etc. opening to interior with various compartments and bevel edge mirror held in place with decorative gilt mounts.

pierced frieze to all sides with gilt mounts, carved legs and shaped stretchers united by two carved dragon like creatures with entwined tails.

normal minor marks and scuffs commensurate with age and use but overall this super quality table is in very good condition and is not done justice by the photographs.
