Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The top swivels and four sections open up to reveal a green baize playing surface and four counter wells. Beneath is a mahogany lined drawer with decorative brass handles and crossbanded edge and it stands on four elegant tapering legs with spade feet and castors. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
