Early C19th Regency period mahogany 'tip-up' rectangular breakfast or dining table.

Good original example raised on an elegant turned column with a four-splay down-swept 'hipped' sabre-leg base fitted with leaf-cast brass box castors.

Rich patina to the selected solid figured mahogany top . Fitted with original brass handle release catch beneath and has the original screw-in brass bolts and brass catches fitted to the block. Has some small historically fitted leather pads fixed to the corners of the block to ensure tightly closed fit .

In excellent ready to use condition, has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Useful scale breakfast or dining table in original condition throughout.
