Description:
Constructed from mahogany, this table boasts a lovely single-plank top (sign of quality). Below, there are two working drawers, which are finished with cock beading to the drawer fronts, along with old period replacement petal-shape brass drop handles. The drawer lines are made with oak, pine drawer bottoms, all of which are constructed with hand-dovetailed joints. The drawers run smoothly and close flush to the frame. The back of the table retains the original backboards. The table stands on four simple tapering legs.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the hallway. The table would certainly grace any home or office and is a great investment, as it is extremely functional. So don’t miss out on your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
Condition Report:
This table is in good condition. The table has been polished in our workshops. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, drawer fronts and top, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The drawers have old period replacement brass handles. The drawers are in good working order and close flush to the frame. As the table boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination. This table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
