This is an excellent quality, English antique reading table by the London maker, J.Ward of Leicester Square London, Patentee. In lovely, orignal condition, this Regency antique mahogany table can be used as a flat side table, but it also has a rise and fall mechanism to the top which allows it to be positioned on an angle, to hold a book. Standing on bun feet with inset, quality brass castors and stamped by the London makers. A very neat Regency antique reading table that is in perfect working condition. The table could also be used to display manuscripts or an art work.
