Circa 1800 Lovely Solid Mahogany Oval Drop Leaf Table.

Description

Circa 1800 George III period elegant solid mahogany oval drop leaf table having a simple gate leg mechanism, and with graceful tapering legs, terminating on pad feet.

This table has a lovely medium colour, and is very useful as an occasional table, for dining, wine or tea, or playing cards. It is the perfect size for a smaller home, or to use for extra seating, seating four people comfortably.

The simple Georgian design will complement any decorating scheme.

Size-open, 43 inches long by 39 inches wide by 29 inches high. Closed 15 inches deep.

A wonderful antique table with great age, and in very good original condition with a traditional wax finish. A great value.
