Description

A pair of good quality early 19th century mahogany demi-lune console tables with superb original patina (colour).

This pair of tables consist of solid mahogany tops with superb patina with a reeded front edge leading down to a well figured mahogany frieze with large central curl mahogany panel surrounded by a reeded and ebonised moulding.

Within the frieze and at the top of each of the legs is a smaller curl mahogany panel surrounded by an ebonised moulding, the frieze having a reeded and ebonised moulding to the lower edge leading down to the four elegant turned and reeded tapered legs.

There is no doubt these have been a well used pair of tables and the tops do retain some stains through general use but this has helped create the superb patina they now have.

This pair of tables are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
