Description

A quality mahogany side table stamped 'Gillows Lancaster'. The standard of manufacture is exactly as you would expect from a cabinet maker of such stature. Turned and fluted legs still retain their original brass castors and all run very smoothly. Sat above are three drawers all lined in mahogany, the central drawer bearing the impressed stamp for Gillows Lancaster, faint but legible. The well figured top is finish off with a simple mahogany rail to the back and sides. The top has had a small repair just to fix some shrinkage and the whole piece has been repolished to leave it in pristine condition.
