Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique Writing Table

In The Gillows Design, This Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique Writing Table Dates From around 1870. It has a leather writing insert with an unusual hinged storage compartment, ideal for storing writing equipment, this sits above a mahogany lined drawer with moulded edges and turned handles. This delightful table stands on beautiful turned reeded legs with brown porcelain castors and the mahogany has aged to a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
