Description

A good early 19th century Regency period rosewood SOFA TABLE in splendid original condition.

The beautifully figured top has acquired a particularly good warm colour and impressive patina, below which the frieze features two oak-lined drawers with original ring handles. It is supported on twin turned supports, joined by a turned stretcher and leading to sabre legs and fine cast and gilded sabot castors. 33ins wide (closed); 56ins wide (open; 24ins deep. (84 x 142 x 61cms)
