Description

This is a beautiful papier mache handpainted and gilded tray on stand which dates from around 1850. The lacquered tray is exquisitely and profusely decorated with birds and flowers and is in quite a rare rich deep burgundy shade. The bespoke stand is very neat faux bamboo in style and fits and supports the tray perfectly. This very attractive tray on stand is in very good overall condition and measures 79 cms by 60 cms (the tray) and is 48cms high.
